OUTDOOR THERAPY
We provide outdoor counselling and therapy in Peterborough and Sarnia. These sessions are either sit-down or walk-and-talk. Rachel Heathcock and Stephanie Van Bommel provide service outdoors.

HOW TO BOOK A SESSION WITH US
New patients can book a session by by contacting the main office or by booking a free, 15-minute consultation via our client portal to discuss next steps. If you're interested in outdoor services, look for Rachel (Peterborough) or Stephanie (Sarnia).

OUTDOOR THERAPY
WHERE WILL WE MEET?
Our goal is for you to be as comfortable possible and get the most out of your sessions. As such, we like to see you choose an outdoor location that will best meet your needs. If it's helpful, we will do the choosing! Outdoor therapy settings are usually minimally populated areas, but never secluded locations. Picnic table areas in parks and beach areas are popular.
HOW WILL WE FIND EACH OTHER?
Just as we do with video therapy and in-person sessions, we do our best to make sure you find us without issues! Usually, you and your therapist will select a specific meeting point or a location that's easy to find. When appropriate, we sent a photo of the exact spot we expect to meet. Your practitioner's photo is on our About Us page, if you'd like to review it!
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE I SHOULD KNOW?
You may see people you know during outdoor sessions. Your therapist will likely ask you how you would like to address any familiar people you may encounter during your session. We always follow your lead, if this occurs.
If you prefer, outdoor therapy can be arranged together with in-office or video sessions.
You may wonder if outdoor sessions are offered during the summer months only; they are not! You can request an outdoor session all year round. In fact, we have conducted outdoor therapy sessions in every type of weather, including rain and very cold temperatures!
